Sometimes the best method to protect your house is a combination of two or more shutter types. This method is called a hybrid.
An
example of this is when a house features galvanised panels on the
bottom floor where they can be installed during an emergency without
getting on a ladder. Above the first floor would feature accordion or
roll-up shutters so that they could be deployed from inside the house.
This method is often used to save money!
